Classical guitarist
Dimitris 's versatile activity spans from solo and duo guitar performances in major concert halls to the planning, management and directing of music festivals and institutions.
Classical guitar soloist and teacher (MusMPerf, PGdipPerf - University of Manchester) settled in Athens, Greece. Studied at Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, U.K. as a Lilian Voudouri Foundation scholar with Gordon Crosskey and visiting tutor John Williams. Preceded studies at Nikos Skalkotas Conservatory in Athens with Costas Grigoreas.

His performances include recitals in major concert halls such as Megaron Athens Concert Hall and concerts as a soloist with orchestras such as Athens Sinfonietta and Athens Chamber Opera Orchestra. He has performed for NET TV and the Third Program of the Greek Radio and has recorded music of leading greek contemporary composer Michael Travlos for cd released by TAR e-magazine on classical guitar.

He formed D&A GuitarDuo with guitarist Angelos Botsis and has arranged numerous works - mainly orchestral - for two guitars. His transcription "Varii Capricci for two guitars" is now part of William Walton's official catalogue of works (Stewart R. Craggs, William Walton: A Catalogue. Oxford: Oxford University Press, 2015).

Currently, he is the Artistic Director of the renowned Veria International Guitar Festival and consultant at Sifnos island classical music festival MuSifanto and its related guitar workshops at remote islands of the Aegean.
He founded and directed the Mini Guitar Festival, one of the leading festivals for young guitarists in Greece, which was held annually in Athens from 2002 until 2010.

He is the Director of Neoklassiko Conservatory and Klassiko Conservatory in Athens.
